New Era in Dandeli-Anshi Tiger Reserve:

Nowadays in all the tiger reserves forest dwellers are against the forest department and government and they are not at all interested in any of the conservation activities as they are scared by relocation policy. But it doesn't seems the same in our Dandeli-Anshi Tiger Reserve as local people are themselves taking active part in conserving their precious wildlife and forest.
We all should thank Mr.Sunil Panwar,DCF Dandeli WL Division, the person behind this who initiated this activity and succeeded. As a effect of Nature Interpretation Camp conducted for School Children and local people,it has inspired lots of children who started caring DATR as their life and convincing their families regarding the importance of saving our precious wildlife.Narayan,a local dweller tells that ,all the children in their village convincing the people about the severe causes of poaching. As a result, poaching incidents are recorded very less in the past few weeks.
We can proudly say a new era has been started in DATR and there is no doubt in that it will become a Model Tiger Reserve in India.
